Welcome, I’m Gregor Manaylo.
 

We very likely met before in person at an art fair at some point in the world.
Art has been part of my life from the very beginning – my father, Andrew Manaylo, is a third-generation contemporary artist, and I grew up surrounded by his studio, his process, and the world of painting.

My great-grandfather, Fedor Manaylo, was one of the defining figures of Ruthenian art in Ukraine.
My father and my grandfather dedicated their lives not only to painting, but also to preserving Ruthenian identity – a culture without a country, carried forward through those who keep its traditions alive.

Being surrounded by this legacy, it felt natural for me to step into the art world.
As I’m not an artist yet, this gallery is my way of continuing the family mission:
By presenting Ruthenian and Carpathian-rooted art to audiences around the world and keeping our cultural story visible.

Our family also contributes to the Pro Arte Ruthenorum initiative, which supports young Ruthenian artists and encourages the next generation to continue creating.
